Miniature Trout in a River Pour Tray with Lost Ship Wheel and Treasure
I made this tray by first sculpting and painting miniature trout/fish then created the tray using resin and added fine sand, small rainbow pebbles, and static grass. After the first two pours of resin, I added the fish and more stones, a ship's wheel, red crystals, and mini gold coins (the treasure) and coated it with more resin.
This trey is about 8.5" in diameter and 0.91" thick.
The design was inspired by the peacefulness of rivers and the excitement one sees when fish swim gracefully undercurrents in the water. Hope this makes you smile :-)
I grew up on the Gallatin River outside of Bozeman Montana, almost every evening dad would come home from a hard day's work, grab his fishing pole and find his peace fishing on the river. As a kid, we would spend hours in the summer playing in the Gallatin River. Now I live just a few miles from the Bitterroot River in Montana, it has over 100 miles of Blue-Ribbon trout water.
This river tray would make a wonderful gift for people who enjoy fishing and spending time on the river and can be used as a serving, rolling tray, or decorative conversation piece.
Thank you for supporting my art and our small business, this is not just a hobby, my husband and I are full-time artists.
Have a fun and wonderful day,
