Monster Book Number 5, Journal Notebook with 6 Ring Binder, over 200 Blank Pages

I made this handcrafted journal from scratch, this is the 5th monster book I made and everyone is different and more complex. For this one, I added 6 ring binder rings so pages can be easily removed or added. This binder-type notebook takes standard A-5, 6-hole pages. It comes with over 200 copper-edged blank pages but refill pages can be added such as weekly/monthly calendar, planner, graph paper, or a variety of standard A-5 refills (5.8" x 8.2") 6-hole binder pages and can be purchased at office supply stores or online. 

This is a large book about 8.5 " wide (from the end of teeth to spine) x 9" long and 3" thick and weighs about 2.14 pounds.

This was made using fake fur and needle felting. For the eyes, I hand-painted glass and then sculpted the face around it with air-dry clay. When I was done with the eyes and face I painted and used copper wire to secure it to the cover. I soldered dragons onto the connecting clasps and added a small lock with keys for the safe keeping of one's thoughts, drawings, or diary entries. 

To keep it from being unruly you must stroke the spine.
