Mermaid Pyramid, Night Light with Under Sea Hidden Treasures, Desk Light Eclectic Art
Rae created this hidden treasure mermaid; pyramid light by first running LED lights in a clear rubber tube and pouring epoxy around it. I wanted to give this a fun undersea look, so I created sea creatures and placed them around the tube with a mermaid. I made a glass bottle with crystals in it and buried it in the sand, so the mermaid looked down at the bottle and embedded it all in deep pour epoxy.
The base is made out of heavy aquarium stones in epoxy, giving it a beautiful amethyst look. I finished this off with our Aspen Hot glass logo in acrylic on the bottom.
The lights that are inside of this pyramid are multi-color changing lights that are powered by a USB plug or a wall plug. This comes with an extended USB cable and wall socket. The lights have a remote with a timer that can be set into 4 different modes and has 16 different colors. The timer function on the light can be set to 4, 6, 18, or 24 hours. The remote comes with a long-lasting CR 2032 3 V Lithium battery.
The USB/pug in the cord is 6.5 feet.
When you are using the remote, it is pointed at the sensor with the circuit board located on the plug.
In the video, the remote is set to fade, so the light fades in different colors.
This is 7.75” tall x 6” wide and weighs about 6 pounds.
Thank you for buying and supporting my art and our small business. We appreciate it,
More about Bill & Rae
We are full-time artists with extensive backgrounds in the high-tech industry, which helps us with the technical aspects of our artwork and glass blowing. We love to incorporate science into our functional art pieces.
Our small organic farm overlooks the Bitterroot Mountains with several buildings dedicated to our work-from-home lifestyle. The Steampunk Shop is Rae’s creative space; the Torch Shop is where we blow our glass, and the Big Shop is for general mad science and Bill's electronics lab.
Since 1993, our work has produced glass art, including hand-blown contemporary marbles, hummingbird feeders, and Pixie Orb ornaments.
We are spreading love and harmony - one piece of art at a time.
