Hand Blown Shot Glass Drinkware, D556
Our hand-blown shot glasses would make a nice addition to the home bar accessory or for groomsman, bridesmaids, weddings or the shot glass collector.
This shot glass was made by Bill Grout using Boro glass in our Aspen Hot Glass studio located in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley, proudly made in Montana.
It holds approximately 1 oz (30 ml) of liquid and is about 1.60" wide at the lip, 1.30" wide at the base and about 2.16 tall.
If someone is not into barware this small glass can also be used to hold toothpicks, Q-tips or they work well as a little flower vase.
Fun trivia about the word shot glass:
An old legend on how shot glasses got their name is, back in the old west a bullet cost 12 cents, so did a shot of whiskey. If a cowboy/cowgirl did not have the money he/she could pay with a bullet, thus the saying “give me a shot”.
All of our glass is kiln annealed after the glass blowing process.
Thank you for taking the time to enjoy our glass art and we hope you have a fun and wonderful day,
