Blown Glass Heart Lampwork Necklace Pendant, Mauve

To create the pendant, I first made (hand-blown lampwork torchwork) a ribbon cane using shades of purple, pink, and mauve glass. I melted the ribbon cane over a mauve base and coated it with clear glass. When I was done, the glass was annealed for 14 hours in a kiln.

After annealing, I added a clear crystal and strung the pendant on a waxed cotton cord with a silver lobster claw clasp. The cord is about 20" long; the pendant is 2.07" long, about 1.17" wide, and 0.47" thick.
