Bottle Stopper, Yellowstone Round, Blown Glass Top with Black Silicone Base
I made, ( hand-blown glass torchwork), the top of this bottle stopper using Italian soft glass. I first created a ribbon cane laced with Goldstone, I then made the top with shades of gray, white, and pink glass and incorporated the Goldstone ribbon into the top for extra sparkle. This is my lollypop top shape.
After the glass top was annealed for 14 hours I attached a stainless steel mandrel and fastened it to a food-grade silicone base.
This is about 3.62" long x 1.28" wide at the glass top and the silicone base tapers down to about 0.36"
This would make a nice gift for someone special or oneself and comes in one of our Aspen Hot Glass gift boxes.
I signed and dated the glass RaeG20 with a titanium pen
Thank you for supporting our glass blowing business and I hope you have a fun and wonderful day,
More about us
We are full-time artists with extensive backgrounds in the high-tech industry, which helps us with the technical aspects of our artwork and glass blowing. We love to incorporate science into our functional art pieces.
Our small organic farm overlooks the Bitterroot Mountains with several buildings dedicated to our work-from-home lifestyle. The Steampunk Shop is Rae’s creative space; the Torch Shop is where we blow our glass, and the Big Shop is for general mad science and Bill's electronics lab.
Since 1993, our work has produced glass art, including hand-blown contemporary marbles, hummingbird feeders, and Pixie Orb ornaments.
We are spreading love and harmony - one piece of art at a time.
