We have spent the summer rockhounding and digging our own crystals. In this process Bill has come full circle with his love of lapidary work and bringing out the beauty in what we find buried in the earth. I have fun cleaning the crystals reburying them in mini terrain builds in jewelry and art pieces creating intricate fairy garden whimsy.

My background is chemical engineering so when I left Seattle and started working at a laser company in Bozeman, Montana I had some art training but not the graphic design skills for print advertising. After I drew a schematic of how a printed circuit board works the owner of the company wanted me to create their print advertising in the same format. I met Bill in 2002 ~ he showed up on my doorstep and instead of a box of candy and flowers he gave me a marble and glass rose. That was it ~ he won me over on the first date. I lived 250 miles away from him and would drive to see him every weekend.
